Getting Started¶
1. Powering On the H-3
Insert two AA batteries. We suggest non-rechargeable AAs. You can also run the ornament from the USB-C port instead.
2. Turning On the Ornament
If the ornament is asleep, press one of the buttons to wake it.
3. Play Holiday Songs
Press a button to play its first song, or hold it for about a second to play its second song:
- Button 1: Frosty the Snowman, hold for Blue Christmas
- Button 2: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, hold for Do You Want to Build a Snowman
- Button 3: Jingle Bells, hold for Barbie Girl
4. Add to Home Assistant (Optional)
For additional customization, put the H-3 in boot mode, then flash the smart H-3 firmware and connect it to Home Assistant following the setup guide. With Home Assistant you can add new songs, change LED effects, and create custom automations.
5. Enjoy Your Ornament
Hang the H-3 on your tree, place it on a mantel, or incorporate it into any holiday setup. Share your setup with us in the community!
