Attaching switches and keycaps to your BTN-1¶
Your Apollo BTN-1 uses mechanical keyboard switches with keycaps on top. The step-by-step instructions for installing both live in the Physical setup section of the BTN-1 getting started guide.
Use your own Cherry MX switches
We sell Cherry MX Brown switches because they're mostly silent, but some people prefer a very "clicky" switch. You can buy off-the-shelf mechanical keyboard switches (Cherry MX Red, Brown, Blue, and others) and place them on your BTN-1.
